What are the different types of strokes?

There are two main types of stroke: ischemic attack and hemorrhagic. It’s expected that 80 % of strokes are ischemic.

Ischemic stroke

Ischemic stroke is the most common type of stroke and is caused by a blockage of the blood bowls delivering the brain. This may be due to ‘hardening’ and narrowing of the blood vessel or by a blood lump blocking a blood vessel. The concept is similar to that of a heart attack, where a blood lump blocks blood movement to a portion of your heart.

Hemorrhagic stroke

The simplest type of stroke is a hemorrhagic stroke. It occur when a blood bowl in the brain bursts, permitting blood to leak and cause damage to an area of the brain.

What Are The Symptoms Of A Stroke?

The symptoms of a stroke generally appear unexpectedly. Initially somebody may feel sick, and look light and very ill. They may complain of a sudden headache. They may have sudden deadness in their face or limbs, mostly down one side of their body. Conditional on what function the damaged part of the brain had, somebody may lose one or more of the following utilities:
